We're at it again with another massive custom build that pushes the machine to its limit. We put a lot of work and a lot of parts on this Ranger XP 900 but there's only 1 part that makes or breaks this build, and it's probably not what you're thinking of...
Ranger RevolutionA lot of people own Rangers, and I mean a LOT. It's probably the most popular UTV on the market right now, even more popular than the leading sport models. Why? Because people have work to do. Period. It's hard to beat that 875cc engine, 1500 lbs. of payload capacity, and 2000 lbs. of towing capacity.
The Ranger has only one weakness—the frame.
That's why a good custom build needs to start at the heart of the machine. I'm talking about the Frame Stiffener. It's the first accessory you nee change your work Ranger into a party Ranger.
Frame Stiffener Saves the DayOur Ranger XP 900 build has a 6" lift, 6" GDP portals, 34" Terminator Tires, and Rhino 2.0 axles. Whether the Ranger will buckle or not under with all that lift is still up in the air, if it doesn't bend, we're in for a whole load of fun and hard riding.
That's where the frame stiffener comes in—it made this build possible
That weak front-end frame makes adding all this gear a sketchy at best, and you can forget about the 1500 lb. payload capacity. That's where the frame stiffener comes in. With a frame stiffener installed, we can pile on as much awesome gear as we want and ride however we want.
