There’s no community quite like the off-road community. We love to see all of y’all out there rocking your SuperATV parts and merch. But more than that, we want to see folks out there getting after it on the trail with the people that matter most to them.
We’ve picked just 3 couples out of the hundreds of awesome off-road enthusiasts to focus on. These couples prove that the UTV life isn’t just “for the guys.” It’s an awesome hobby couples—even whole families—can enjoy together!
The only bad thing about featuring impressive off-road couples? There are too many badass duos out there doing the darn thing to feature them all!
Let’s start with our buddies over at Slikrok. Slikrok and SuperATV go way, way back—but not as far back as these couples.
Jake is one of the cofounders of the off-road industry powerhouse that is SlikRok. He’s often the man behind the camera, bringing the team’s adventures to you. What you may not see is the woman behind the man behind the camera—Crystal!
Wherever you find Slikrok, you’ll find Jake—and wherever Jake is, Crystal’s right behind. Their social media pages on Facebook and Instagram make it very clear that they share a love for the outdoors and off-road adventures.
Crystal is also a brand ambassador for Off Road Vixens, an apparel company made by women, for women. Plus she’s a multitalented fitness aficionado and influencer across social channels. As a pair, Jake and Crystal are a force to be reckoned with on the trail or online.
We also want to mention Curt and Rena, more friends of SuperATV through SlikRok. Curt is SlikRok’s other cofounder. Like Jake and Crystal, Rena and Curt are virtually always outside. In addition to their mutual love of UTVs and vintage cars, they’re both huge outdoor enthusiasts.
Rena calls herself an amateur photographer, but her Instagram feed is full of professional-quality photos of the beautiful places the pair visit—often on a side-by-side!
These couples represent what this hobby is about: having fun with friends and family while making memories.
For our final couple of the article, we want to highlight Randi and Mike. They’re a staple at powersports events—and Randi constantly dominates competitions and races! They’re true powerhouses in the side-by-side world, leading the WTF Offroad apparel brand and Facebook community.
Randi has a big presence across the industry, including her involvement with Teach ‘Em Young, a bounty hole series for kids age 6 to 17 founded by fellow off-road titan, Megan Rion (we’ll have to talk about Megan and Derek next time).
Of course, there’s more to Randi (and Mike!) than powersports. Randi is a powerful champion for alopecia awareness, a disease that causes hair loss. Randi publicly advocates on behalf of other men and women experiencing the effects of alopecia. She doesn’t hide her condition, often posting publicly about it on her social media profiles.
It goes without saying that Mike is right there cheering her on the whole time. He supports her one-hundred percent of the time—alopecia or no. Now that’s a power couple.
Like we said early on—there’s no way to mention every incredible duo out there taking our industry by storm. We hope these couples inspire you to take on off-road adventures with your partner-in-crime. You never know how a shared passion could bring you together!
