Sara Price is a professional motocross and supercross racer, and she’s the first-ever factory-supported female racer under Kawasaki USA. Racing for Kawasaki, she has competed in every UTV race series she can, across all disciplines. She has competed in short course, desert racing, and even rock crawling.

Price’s racing career started early, when she began racing dirt bikes at the age of eight. She quickly secured nineteen amateur titles and even earned a Women’s Super X medal at the 2010 X Games.

From Two Wheels to Four

By 2012, Price had switched from two wheels to four and began racing UTVs in the WORCS series and Lucas Oil Regional Series. In 2015, hers was the first American UTV team to compete in the Rally Aicha Des Gazelles in Morocco, Africa—known to many as “the toughest all-female sporting event on the planet.” That same year, Price went on to finish the Terracross Championship undefeated and then take home the Women’s Championship.

In 2016, Price competed in six races in the Stadium Super Truck Series and became the first woman to ever lead laps in the series. That was also the year she earned the 2016 Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame Rising Star Award in the UTV/ATV/MX category, in recognition of her many UTV and MX championships and efforts.

Trophy Truck Success

Price spent 2017 racing the RPM Offroad Trophy Truck and Trophy Truck Spec. As the winner of the Next Female Hoonigan, she piloted a Fiat rally car in the Mt. Washington Auto Road Hillclimb and San Pedro Martir Hillclimb in Baja, Mexico.

In 2019 (Price’s second year racing in Baja), she became the first woman to win the SCORE International Trophy Truck Spec Championship, the first woman to IronWoman the Trophy Truck Spec Class and finish, and the first woman to finish second in the overall championship in SCORE International. Pretty impressive!

And if you think she stopped to rest in 2020, think again. In March she finished second overall at the Sonora Rally in Sonora, Mexico. Soon after, back in the United States, she signed with Chip Ganassi Racing’s new electric racing venture, Extreme E. The deal made her the first-ever female driver for CGR and the first driver ever signed with the new series.

As if that weren’t enough, she even launched her own merchandise brand, Burn Fuel.

More Than a Racer

When she’s not racing side-by-sides, Price works as a stunt professional and has appeared in advertisements and films seen both nationally and worldwide. Her stunts involve performing on motorcycles and as precision drivers for both TV and film. A more recent stunting job she was able to land was in Jumanji: The Next Level.

Sara Price is well on her way to conquering every type of race discipline possible. She’s breaking boundaries and setting the record straight everywhere she goes to make sure everyone knows that “women can be gorgeous and be just as good as the men on the track.”

Check her out on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. She’s making waves and we want to make sure you catch them!
