[0:00] Is it time for a filter change on your RZR 800 or 800 S? Today I’m going to show you how to do that. My name is Kristen and this is Maintenance Matters.
We’re going to start by removing these three clips here on your airbox lid. Slide that out, take this off, and there’s gonna be a seal on the inside. Check and make sure that’s in good shape and not damaged. If it is, you can get with your Polaris dealership and they’ll get you a new one.
[0:32] Next you’re gonna grab your filter and give it a little tug. It’ll come off. Okay, so this air filter is quite dirty. You’ll have to get a new one from your Polaris dealership if it looks anything like this. It has some damage and you can see it’s quite dirty.
Now you want to wipe out any dirt or debris, any kind of leaves, mud, or water that might be inside of your air filter box.
Now you’ll go through and clean out your airbox lid. Clean around the seal and make sure it’s good.
[1:18] Now that’s all cleaned up. You’ll reinstall the new filter. We don’t actually have a new filter today so we’ll put this one back in. We never advise using a dirty filter but the process will still be the same.
Once your air filter is seated, put your airbox lid back in place.
And that’s how easy it is to change your air filter on a RZR 800 or 800 S. Thanks for watching!
