[0:00] Have you ever wanted to grease the wheel bearings on your Polaris machine? SuperATV’s got you covered now with our Wheel Bearing Greaser. Today we’re going to show you how to use it!
First we’ll remove the wheel and tire for whichever wheel bearing you want to grease. We’ll remove the cotter pin from the castle nut and then remove the hardware for our brake calipers.
Go ahead and remove the caliper. Just lay it up and out of the way. Grab the hub and slide it off, just like that. Grab the greaser and slide it right over the axle and into the bearing.
[0:58] Make sure you get it all the way in there, fully seated, so the face of the greaser is up against the bearing. Then we’ll take our grease gun and put it on the zerk.
Pump the bearing full. I like to pump it until there is just a little bit coming out. Remove the greaser and reinstall it.
Make sure to reinstall your washers at the same time as the castle nut. Flip the caliper back over here. Then we’ll tighten our brake caliper hardware back up. Tighten the castle nut, then reinstall your cotter pin.
[2:09] The next thing you’ll do is make sure your hardware is fully tightened. Then reinstall your wheel and tire.
And that’s how super quick and easy it is to use SuperATV’s Wheel Bearing Greaser on this Polaris RZR!
