[0:00] Is it time to change the air filter on your Kawasaki Teryx? Today I’m going to show you how to do that. My name is Kristen and this is Maintenance Matters.
You’re gonna start by removing your hood.
Next, we’re gonna loosen the clips on your airbox lid. Slide your airbox lid off. It’ll have air hoses connected to it—just set those aside.
[0:32] Next, grab your air filter. It’s a loose fit, so it should come out pretty easily. Go ahead and wipe out your airbox. Make sure there’s no dirt, leaves, or any kind of debris in there.
Take out your lid. Check the seal around the lid to make sure it’s intact and in good shape. If not, you can get a new air filter kit with those seals in it from your dealership.
[0:59] Next, we’re gonna inspect our air filter. You’ll be looking for any kind of damage or wetness, or any kind of dirt, leaves, or debris stuck inside. This one’s pretty new, so it’s in good shape.
We’ll just use an air hose to blow it from the inside out.
[1:23] Now you can reinstall your air filter. Make sure it slides into the grooves correctly.
You can slide your airbox lid back into place, close the clips, and make sure your air hoses are still intact. Now you can reinstall your hood.
And that’s how easy it is to change the air filter on the Kawasaki Teryx. Thanks for watching!
