What’s up guys, Braden here with Super ATV, and today we’re going to be showing you how to install our cargo rack alpha on this Polaris RZR Pro. Let’s get right to it!
First, grab your hinge mount and hinge mount cap along with four of the M6 bolts from the hardware kit. Identify the right-side hinge mount by its angled design. Slide it onto the cage, then attach the cap around the tube of the cage. Insert the M6 bolts and start threading them in. Repeat the same steps on the driver’s side.
Align the hinge mounts to be somewhat flat and snug the hardware without fully tightening it. This allows for adjustments later on. Ensure the mounts hold in place securely.
Grab the lock washer, regular M6 washer, and oversized washer. Line up the crossbar with the notches on the previously installed brackets. Insert the hardware through the crossbar and brackets but do not fully tighten yet to allow for adjustments.
Next, take the Striker mount, two M8 bolts, two M8 nuts, the Striker pin, and an M6 nut. Install the Striker mount on the factory hole on the frame using the M8 bolt. Insert the Striker pin and secure it with the M6 nut. Fully tighten the hardware and repeat on the opposite side.
Fully tighten all the hardware on both sides to ensure the mounts are secure. This includes the bolts on the hinge mounts, crossbar, and Striker mounts.
Lay the rack on the Striker mounts and adjust it for proper fit. Loosen the hardware securing the hinge mounts and crossbar to allow for adjustment. Position the crossbar to align with the rack and slide the rack into place.
Insert the bushings and sleeves into the hinge mounts, followed by the long M10 bolts. Leave everything loose initially to make further adjustments. Once aligned, install the M10 nuts on the bolts and fully tighten all the hardware, ensuring everything is securely fastened.
Attach the struts by sliding them through the designated holes and securing them with nuts. Lift the rack to position the struts correctly, then fully tighten the strut hardware.
Install the brackets on the rack as desired. The remaining hardware in the kit is for fastening these brackets. The brackets can be oriented in various ways to suit your needs.
