Are you looking for more storage space in the bed of your RZR PRO XP. Well, SuperATV has you covered with our cooler/cargo box, and today we’re going to show you everything you need to do to get one installed. So let’s get right to it.
[00:36] First, we’ll remove the following four T40 Torx from the bed. Then remove the bed. Once all your hardware is removed, grab onto the XP’s handle, pick it up, and pull your bed out of the machine.
[00:58] When looking at the bed here, this portion is closest to the machine. You’re going to see a couple of bolts—one here and one on the opposite side. We’ll partially remove these. You need a 10mm socket and a 3/16 Allen. Remove the nut completely off the hardware. After that, slide our hardware straight back.
Look down inside your cargo area, you’ll see a notch. We’ll grab our passenger side bracket. When you slide it into this slot, your holes should be facing the center. Then take your hardware and feed it all the way through the same hole we removed it from. Make sure you have your washer installed on the backside. Reinstall your nut. Next, fully tighten the hardware. Repeat the same step for the opposite side.
[02:16] Again so it’s not confusing, this is the driver’s side front of your cargo box area. Both brackets are going to line up on the side of our cargo box. You have the right side bracket and the driver’s side bracket. Both of them are installed, so we’ll fully tighten our hardware. See how our brackets move freely. When we get our cargo box in, we can adjust them around.
[02:48] Now, we’ll reinstall our bed. With that, we still have all of our factory T40s we removed. The right side bracket goes on the passenger side. It sits like this. Also, we have a left side bracket, which goes on the driver’s side like this.
We’re going to go ahead and get our hardware started for our brackets. We don’t need to fully tighten this yet, as long as your screws are started. You still want a little bit of adjustability. We can reinstall our T40 Torx that were up here and fully tighten them.
[03:38] Then we’ll take our cargo box and slide it into position. Then get our thumb screws started. Don’t fully tighten them until all of them are installed. When you install them, make sure that you have a lock washer and a flat washer on the thumb screw.
We’ll get those started on that side and do the same thing on the opposite side. It should look like this. Next, we’ll jump to the back where we installed our rear brackets. Get the hardware installed in those as well. Do the same thing with the lower screws. We’ll come over to the opposite side—same process. Now that we have all of our thumb screws started, we’ll fully tighten our hardware that’s secured in our rear brackets.
[04:40] Once you have all your thumb screws and T40 Torx tightened, that’s all there is to install SuperATV’s Cooler/Cargo Box on this RZR PRO XP.
