Looking to upgrade your Can-Am Maverick R with a heavy-duty front bumper? SuperATV has the solution. In this video, Braden Adams walks you through the tools you’ll need and the step-by-step installation process.
Start by grabbing your cover plate, two M8x25mm bolts, and two M8 Nylock nuts. Slide the angled bracket into position so the threaded holes face outward. Insert the bolts from the bottom with threads pointing upward through the frame. Thread the nuts on loosely—do not fully tighten yet. Repeat these steps on the opposite side. These brackets will later support the bumper.
Locate the left side bracket, with the closed portion facing upward. Slide it into place through the front frame opening. Use M8x20mm hardware to attach it to the frame. Thread the nuts on loosely to allow movement for adjustment. Repeat this process for the opposite side.
Take the two silver M8 bolts and insert them through the upper bracket into the pre-threaded holes on the bumper. Then use the two black M8 bolts to attach the lower part of the bumper into the bottom bracket. Begin by lining everything up and hand-tightening the hardware. Once all bolts are in place, fully tighten everything and adjust the brackets as needed for a secure fit.
After confirming proper alignment, go through and fully tighten all bolts. That completes the installation of SuperATV’s front bumper on the Can-Am Maverick R.
