What’s up guys? Today we’re going to show you how super easy it is to install SuperATV’s Front Bumper on this Polaris RZR Trail S 1000. Let’s get right to it.

Remove the Grille from the Machine

The first thing we’re going to do is remove the two T30 Torx that are securing this panel to the machine. Once your hardware is removed, you’ll want to leave this panel intact. Then move to the top and push down on the two tabs on the grille. Lift straight up and remove it, then set it aside.

A man in a blue shirt removes the black grille from the front of a Polaris RZR.
Push down on the two tabs on the grille, and it will lift straight up and out.

Next, you’re going to install the bumper. Making sure everything lines up correctly, take your hardware and put it through the thread, through the frame, and into the bumper.

You only want to start your hardware. Do not fully tighten anything at this point.

A hand reaches inside the front of the UTV to tighten a bolt onto the back of the black front bumper.
Make sure you’re hardware is lined up correctly and thread it through the frame and into the bumper.

Take the hardware and slide it through the hole in the bumper that lines up with the hole on the frame. Once the bolts are started through the frame, take an M8 Nyloc nut and put it on the bolt to hold it in place.

Just finger-tight is good enough for right now.

Install and Tighten All Hardware

It can be a bit tricky to get the nut on the lower bolt. We recommend using a magnet. Stick it inside the frame and then start tightening the bolt. Once it’s secure, you can fit a wrench in the space and tighten it down.

A finger slides a bolt into place on a black rod and holds it there.
Use a magnetic tool to hold the lower bolt in place. Once it’s secure, use a wrench to tighten it. It needs to be balanced with the opposite side, so don’t overtighten it right now.

Now we’re going to fully tighten the two top bolts. You want them to be as even as possible. Thread this side in, then do the same on the other side. Try to make sure they’re equally tight.

Install the Bumper Tube End Caps

Now that our bumper is fully fastened to the machine, you’re going to install the bumper tube end caps. Attach them to the end of the bumper, where it’s threaded. Thread it in and fully tighten it.

A pair of hands take a round plastic cap and places it over the end of a black tube that is the same width as the cap.
The end caps go on the end, of course. Slide the bold through and tighten it firmly.

Next, you’re going to reinstall the grille. Slide it in from the side then drop it into place. Make sure it lines up with the tabs and then press it in.

A man in blue shirt takes the black grille and slides is between the holes in the front bumper to return it to the hole where it came from.
The grille fits through the hole in the center of the front bumper. Slide it through, then drop it in to place in its original position.

And that’s all there is to installing SuperATV’s Front Bumper on this Polaris RZR Trail S. Make sure you check out all the rest of our awesome gear for your RZR! See you on the trail.
