Hey everyone, Braden here with Super ATV. Today, we’re excited to walk you through the process of installing our front bumper on the Polaris Razer XP. This upgrade not only enhances the look of your Razer XP but also adds robust protection. Let’s get started!
The first step is to remove the grill from the machine. Push down on the tabs of the grill and pull it out. If you have a camera installed, disconnect the wiring by pressing the tab and unplugging the camera. Set the grill aside.
Grab a T40 Torx and remove the two T40 Torx bolts located at the front of the machine. These bolts are positioned near the lower part of the front end.
Next, remove the push pin located here, as well as the one down here. This will allow you to remove the plastic piece covering the front end. Pull out the plastic piece, flexing it as needed to get it past the tubes.
Remove the two 15 mm nuts located at the front of the machine. Then, remove the 15 mm bolt and nut located at the lower part. Use a wrench and a socket to remove these, setting the hardware aside for later use.
Grab the factory bumper and slide it straight out to remove it from the machine. Set it aside.
Grab your Super ATV bumper and slide it onto the studs. Push it all the way back into position. Use the new nuts provided to secure the bumper to the frame.
Take one of the brackets and the factory hardware. Line up the tabs on the bracket with the mounting position on the machine. Slide the hardware through and start it from the backside. Repeat these steps for the opposite side.
Slide the bracket into place and use the factory bolt along with the provided Nylock nut to secure it. Start the hardware and snug it up. Repeat the same steps for the opposite side.
Take the provided bolts and thread them through the bracket into the tube of the bumper. Get both bolts started on both sides, then fully tighten them.
Fully tighten the two nuts on the studs. Ensure that the bumper is secure and properly aligned.
Go back and fully tighten all the hardware, ensuring that everything is snug and secure.
Grab your front cover and reinstall it. Flex the plastic as needed to get it into position. Once in place, reinstall the push pins into their factory locations.
Reinstall the T40 Torx bolts that were removed earlier. Tighten them securely.
Reinstall the grill by snapping it back into place. If you have a front camera, make sure to plug it back in before securing the grill.
