What’s up guys Braden here with Super ATV and today we’re going to be showing you how to install Super ATV’s full windshield on this Polaris RZR XP so let’s get right to it.
The first thing that you’re going to do is go ahead and remove all the contents of your packaging from SuperATV. We have our windshield laid out, and we’re going to confirm that it fits our machine. Once you’ve done that, you’re going to want to go ahead and remove the protective film from both sides of the windshield. Now we’re going to take our seal and apply it across the upper portion of the windshield. Once applied, cut off the excess.
Grab the bulb seal out of the kit. With the windshield laying with the curve up, make sure the bulb seal is facing up as well. Start on one edge and run it all the way around to the opposite side, then cut off the excess. Use a rubber mallet or a special tool for a quicker and easier installation. Then cut off access.
If you have a roof installed, loosen or remove it to make room for the windshield installation. In this case, with a factory roof installed, take the front clamps loose and slide the roof back out of the way to give enough room to install the windshield.
Take the windshield and slide it down into the channel behind the hood and front fenders. Line it up as evenly as possible side to side, ensuring the bulb seal lines up in the center groove of the cage.
Grab the heavy-duty Velcro straps and slide them through the upper portion of the windshield. Feed the strap back up through so it looks like this.
Take the clamps, wrap them around the cage, and feed the strap back through the windshield and the clamp. Pull the strap tight and line the clamp up with the slot in the windshield. Repeat for the opposite side.
Ensure all clamps and straps are secured tightly. That’s all there is to it to install Super ATV’s full windshield on this Polaris Razer XP.
