What’s up guys? Today we’re going to be showing you how super easy it is to install SuperATV’s Turbo S Four-Seater Tinted Polycarbonate Roof. So let’s get right to it.
[00:17] First, get the foam seal out of the hardware kit. Run it starting right here on the edge of where the cage goes to this front bar. And stop right here. Run it all the way back to the rear, right in line with the rear bar of the cage.
So we’re going to start right here on this corner and we’re going to run it all the way down the cage. Once we get to this point, cut it off.
Now we’ll get another piece of our seal here. I like to run mine right in front of the two tapped holes on the cage. If you have a mirror, you may have to cut a little spot out where the mirror brackets are. I’m just going to keep running it around. Get to this point and start running it down the cage again on this side. It looks like we ran out of seal.
Now we’ll pick back up and we’ll run it all along the back portion of the machine. We’re going to butt it up to where our seal was. Run it down to about the same side as the opposite side. We can’t make a 90 degree turn, so we’re going to have to cut our seal here, and using the same piece of seal, we’ll pick up and run it all the way across. Once we get it to this edge right here, we’ll cut off our excess.
Now go through and push down on the seal to make sure it’s a good seal to the cage. Another thing is you want to make sure that your cage is clean before you start.
[02:44] Next we’re going to find the rear portion of our roof and peel off the protective film on both sides. Now lay it up on the cage enough to where you can get it in the correct position. Line it up with these holes. Install the sealing washer with the seal portion facing down.
Grab our four spacers and get them lined up underneath here. Then get the roof pushed down to where it’ll line up with the holes. Get the hardware started, and do the same on the opposite hole. Then repeat these steps for the opposite side holes. With both sides started, fully tighten your hardware.
[04:51] Next, get the front portion of our roof and peel the protective film off both sides. Lay it into position so that the two holes that are closest together right here are going towards the front of the machine. Then grab the short M6 hex hardware from the kit. Make sure the seal washer is facing towards the roof. Line it up with the factory roof holes and get them started on both sides.
We’ll get these two started then we’ll get those started on the opposite side. Then we can tighten them down. I like to use a wrench whenever I do these just because they are a thread that’s exposed the elements a lot. You don’t want to cross thread a bolt. Don’t overtighten them because you’ll pull the threads out.
[06:29] Next, grab the bracket and set it on your workbench. Grab the seal that’s provided and apply this seal all the way across the bracket. Just peel the backing off and run it across. Make sure it’s good and sealed.
We’ll just come down here and cut off any excess. I like to take a screw and pop it through each of these holes to make it easier on you when you go to put it together. Once you’ve done that you’re ready to get it installed.
Make sure that you apply your seal washer to the rest of the hardware that we have in our kit. Make sure that the rubber portion is going to be facing down towards the roof. Then we’ll install our nylock nut as well.
Now lay it up here, get the holes lined up, and get a nut threaded on it. Then I like to go to the opposite side and get two screws started. Then we’ll just continue going through installing all of our hardware. Now fully tighten all of it.
Once you have all your hardware fully tightened, that’s all there is to it to install SuperATV’s full tinted polycarbonate roof on this RZR Turbo S four-seater.
