[0:00] What’s up guys? Today we’re going to show you how super quick and easy it is to install SuperATV’s Full Windshield on this Yamaha Wolverine RMAX 1000, so let’s get right to it!
First you’re going to remove all the contents from your packaging. You’ll have your full windshield, two seals, and clamps. Once you’ve done that, lay this windshield up on your machine to confirm that it fits. We’ve already done this, so we’re going to remove all the protective film from both sides.
Once our protective film is removed, we’ll find our straight bulb seal.
Come right here to the lower portion of the full windshield and apply it, starting here and going all the way across to here. Then cut off the excess.
[1:10] Once we get to this point, we’ll cut off the excess. You’ll have these metal ands in there. If you get one when you go to cut through it, just pull it out. Once you have your excess cut off, make sure it’s fully seated all the way across this lower portion.
After that we’ll grab the bulb seal that’s in the kit. This seal will install just like this—we’ll start right here and run it all the way around the windshield. Make sure the seal portion is facing away from this edge here. Once we get to this point, we’ll cut off the excess.
Go through and make sure it’s fully seated, and then we’ll head over to the machine. Before we can install our full windshield to the machine, we need to come inside the machine and loosen the clamps that secure the factory roof. We’ll completely remove the front fastener and then the rear-most one. Just loosen it, that way our clamp can flip around all three of the clamps.
[2:55] Once we’ve done that, we’ll grab our windshield and slide it up. Fully seat the windshield all the way across and make sure it’s even from side to side. Set it down on there, just like this. That leaves plenty of room to get a roof clamp back on.
Then we’ll grab all four of our heavy-duty Velcro straps and open them up. Slide the strap through the cutout in the full windshield. Slide the strap through the clamp, just like that. We’ll loosely attach that one for now.
[3:56] Come up here to the upper portion and do the same thing. Slide it through, then do the same thing for the opposite side. Then we’ll go through and fully tighten all of our heavy-duty straps, just like that.
Once your windshield clamps are installed, go back through and reinstall your hardware as well as the clamps for your roof. Then reattach the roof.
