What’s up guys Braden here with Super ATV and today we’re going to be showing you how to install Super ATV’s full glass windshield on this Polaris Razer XP so let’s get right to it.
The first thing that we’re going to do is go ahead and grab our foam out of our kit. We’re going to place it right here on this edge of the windshield just like so. Once we get to this edge here, we’ll just go ahead and cut off the excess. Repeat the same steps for the opposite side.
Now we’re going to grab our bulb seal. The bulb portion of the seal is going to face up towards the inside of the windshield, which will make contact on the dash of the machine. Start on this edge and use the bulb seal tool to install it around the windshield.
Go ahead and grab our clamps and separate them. Remove the nut and screw, then take off the grommet and steel insert. Apply a splash of WD-40 to the grommet and slide it into the hole on the windshield. Insert the steel insert back into the grommet. Repeat for all four holes around the windshield. Attach the clamps by feeding the screw through the outside of the windshield towards the inside and secure with the nut.
Grab the windshield wiper handle out of the kit and remove the 10-millimeter nut. Slide off the handle and take one nut off from one side. Leave one flat washer up against the nut and add a rubber washer. Slide it through the windshield and add another rubber washer and flat washer. Secure with the nut and ensure the threads are equal on both sides.
Remove the plastic cap from the wiper arm and align it with the splined handle. Secure with the 10-millimeter nut. Adjust the orientation of the handle and wiper arm as needed. Attach the wiper blade by removing the protective cover, sliding the blade onto the arm, and reinstalling the plastic cover.
Take the windshield and install it onto the machine. Ensure the clamps are towards the outside and rotate them out. Align the windshield correctly.
Reach inside and remove the nut from the screw. Flip the clamp around and line it up with the hardware. Insert the screw through the clamp and start the nut. Repeat the same steps for the opposite side and fully tighten the hardware.
Fully tighten all the hardware, ensuring everything is secure. That’s all there is to it to install Super ATV’s full glass windshield on this Polaris Razer XP.
