How to Install a Glass Windshield on the CFMOTO UForce 1000

What’s up guys Braden here with Super ATV and today we’re going to be showing you how to install Super ATV’s full glass windshield on this CFMOTO UForce 1000 so let’s get right to it.

Applying the Seal (0:34)

The first thing you’re going to do is grab all three of the packages of seal in your kit and apply the seal all the way around the windshield. Start on this corner, run it all the way around the entire windshield, and cut off the excess.

Installing the Wiper Handle (1:46)

Grab all of the components for the wiper. Remove the 10-millimeter nut from the handle, slide off the piece, and set the handle aside. Separate the piece with two nuts on either side, pull off the rubber washer, and leave one flat washer. Install the rubber washer and flat washer on the other side and slide it through the windshield. Tighten the nuts with a 17-millimeter socket and wrench.

Attaching the Wiper Arm (3:20)

Grab the handle and the wiper arm. Remove the plastic cap from the wiper arm and flip it into position. Slide the handle into the wiper arm, thread the 10-millimeter nut back onto the handle, and tighten it. Attach the wiper blade to the arm, lock it into position, and remove the protective cover. Flip the wiper up, let it hit the windshield, and reattach the cap.

Pre-Installing Brackets (5:47)

Pre-install the brackets to the windshield. The long bracket goes on top, and the short bracket goes on the bottom. Use the M6 Allen headed hardware with a sealing washer and an M6 Nylock nut. Line up the brackets and secure them.

Installing the Windshield (6:49)

Install the windshield to the machine. Ensure the clamps are towards the outside, rotate them out, and align the windshield correctly.

Securing the Windshield (7:11)

Reach inside and remove the nut from the screw. Flip the clamp around, line it up with the hardware, insert the screw through the clamp, and start the nut. Repeat the same steps for the opposite side and fully tighten the hardware. Install the clamps on the cage, align them with the brackets, and secure with the longer M6 Allens and spacers.

Installing Slider Vents (9:38)

Grab the slider vents, lay them into position, and use the thumb screws from the hardware kit to secure them.

Conclusion (10:18)

The last thing to do is fully tighten all your hardware. Once you’ve done that, that’s all there is to it to install Super ATV’s full glass windshield on the CF Moto UForce 1000.
