[0:00] What’s up, guys? Today we’re going to show you how super quick and easy it is to install SuperATV’s Half Windshield on this Yamaha Wolverine RMAX 1000. Let’s jump right in!

Unbox Your Half Windshield

First you’re going to get your windshield, your seals, and your clamps out of the box. Lay this up to your machine to make sure that it fits properly.

We’ve already done this, so we’ll go ahead and remove the protective film. We’re going to do this for both sides.

Apply the Bulb Seals

Once we’ve done that, we’ll grab the straight bulb seal. This seal will run from the bottom portion of the windshield, all the way across. Start it right there on that edge, and once you get to this point right here, go ahead and cut off the excess.

Then we’ll grab the other seal that’s in the kit—the 90-degree seal. We’re going to flip our windshield so this curve portion is facing down, toward the table. Make sure to apply the seal with the bulb portion facing away from the curve. Let’s start right here on the edge and round it all the way down to this point right here, then cut off the excess.

Repeat the exact same steps for the opposite side.

Install the Half Windshield

[2:24] Once we’ve installed our seal, we’re going to install the half windshield to our machine. I’m going to slide it on like this, making sure our bulb is making contact with the cage of the machine. Make sure to slide it down into this channel, all the way across the front of the machine.

Now we’ll grab our heavy-duty Velcro straps. I have a little trick that I like to do when I’m installing these that seems to make it a lot easier. Just take it and slide it around here. If you’d like, you can slide your strap through the clamp. Then once you have a little bit of your strap through, you’re going to fold it over and slide it through the cutout in the windshield. That way it goes together a lot more easily.

Do the same thing here on the opposite side. Again, just take your strap and slide it through. Slide it through your strap here and then fold it down.

Tighten All Clamps

[3:38] Slide it through your windshield and then tighten them down. Make sure it’s making good contact everywhere. Come over here and make sure we’ve got this one good and tight.

So there we go, and there you have it! That’s how super quick and easy it is to install SuperATV’s Half Windshield on this Yamaha Wolverine RMAX 1000.
