What’s up guys, Braden here with Super ATV, and today I’m going to be showing you how to install Super ATV’s Hood Rack Bravo on this Honda Pioneer 1006. So let’s get right to it!
The first thing that we’re going to do is go ahead and remove the hardware out of our cage. You’ll need a 17 mm wrench and socket.
Now we’re going to grab our right-side bracket, our spacer, and then two of our long bolts from the kit. Take one of the bolts, slide it through the bracket, and then take the spacer, lining it up like so. Bring it up to the cage. You may need to use a punch or a chisel to wiggle around on the cage until your hardware lines up with the hole. Once you have the bolt started, use one of the factories nuts to secure it. Repeat this process to insert the second bolt.
Once the bolts are through, start snugging the hardware up a little bit. This will help bring the cage together, making it easier to put the upper bolt in. Push the bolt through the cage, then put the nut on and fully tighten the hardware. Repeat the same steps on the opposite side.
Now we’re going to install the rack to the brackets. Grab two Allen-headed screws, two flat washers, and two Nylock nuts. Drop the Allens down through the top notch in the rack, lining up with the notches in the brackets we previously installed. Put the nuts on the bottom and start them by hand.
Repeat the process on the opposite side. Adjust the rack so that it fits and looks the best on both sides. Once aligned, fully tighten the hardware.
So, once you’ve gone through and fully tightened all the hardware, that’s all there is to it to install Super ATV’s Hood Rack Bravo on this Honda Pioneer 1006.
