What’s up guys? Today we’re going to be showing you how to install a rear vented windshield on this Polaris Razor Turbo R. So let’s get right to it.

Confirm Fitment and Remove Protective Film (0:29)

The first thing we’re going to do is confirm fitment on our machine. We’ve already done this, so you should do this at this time. Once you’ve confirmed fitment, remove the protective film from both sides of your windshield.

Attaching Side Panels (0:44)

Now we’re going to grab our side panel of the windshield. It will install just like this. We need to remove the protective film from both sides of the side panel. Start by taking one of the brackets from the kit, lay it in place, and start the short Allens through the bracket. Make sure you have your sealing washer on. Install the hardware in the bracket first, then attach the side panel of the windshield. Don’t fully tighten anything yet; just get it hand-started. Use the medium-length bracket for one side and the longest bracket for the other, using the same hardware for all. Once the brackets are in place, attach the side panel to the bracketry, starting with bolts on the far edges. Fully tighten the hardware once all bolts are in place.

Applying Bulb Seal (4:01)

Now we’re going to take our bulb seal. Make sure the windshield is oriented with the vent facing towards you. Start applying the bulb seal on the edge, ensuring the seal portion is facing up. Run the seal all the way around and cut off the excess. Repeat this on the opposite side, but with the seal facing down. Start from the edge and run it all the way across, cutting off the excess when you reach the other side.

Installing the Bracket (5:22)

Grab the bracket and the last bit of hardware. Slide the hardware through and start it. Sit the bracket on the windshield as shown, ensuring it is properly aligned. Tighten the hardware.

Preparing the Machine (6:04)

Before installing the windshield, loosen your rear roof hardware if you have one. This will help with the installation process. Grab the windshield and get it installed onto the machine. Position the windshield in place and remove the two T40 Torx screws from inside the machine. These screws will be reused to fasten the windshield.

Installing the Windshield (7:12)

Get the windshield in place, ensuring it is properly aligned. Slide the heavy-duty straps through the windshield and around the cage tube. Don’t fully fasten the straps yet, as you may need to adjust the windshield for a perfect fit. Once adjusted, fully tighten all the straps.

Reinstalling T40 Torx Screws (8:42)

Get back inside the machine and reinstall the previously removed T40 Torx screws. Use your hand to pull the windshield down tight through the vent and fully tighten the screws.

Final Steps (9:07)

Once the T40 screws are tightened, fully tighten the two bolts that go through the bracket. After ensuring all hardware is tightened and the roof hardware is reinstalled, that’s all there is to it.
