[0:00] Hey everybody! Today I’m going to show you how super quick and easy it is to install a SuperATV Rear Windshield on this Polaris RZR XP Turbo S. So let’s jump right in!
First, we’ll lay our windshield up on the machine to make sure it fits. We’ve already done this so we’ll proceed by removing the protective film.
In your kit, you’ll see two different kinds of seals. You’ve got a straight one that will go along the lower portion of the rear windshield, and your 90-degree bulb seal that will go from here all the way around to the other side. This lip will be facing toward the cage, so we’ll make sure we install the bulb seal just like this.
Let’s get our bulb and make sure it’s facing away from this bend right here—that way it lays up against the cage of the machine.
I’ll start installing it all the way around.
[1:38] After you get to this point, cut off the excess. Make sure the entire bulb seal is fully seated by taking your hand and tapping it.
Next we will install our straight seal all the way across the lower portion of the rear windshield. Go through and make sure your seals are fully seated. Then we’ll come back and cut off the excess.
After that, grab your seals for the harnesses and slide them into place, then we’ll head over to the machine.
[2:50] Next we’re going to take our flat seal and apply it all the way across the harness bar. Start it right here and run it all the way across. Once you’ve done that, cut off your excess. Make sure it’s stuck on there.
As you can see, we already have our seats out of our machine. Also, I disconnected the factory harness. All we did was take it loose from here and pulled this section through the harness.
You can unbolt them from the frame if you don’t want to do that. You can absolutely just undo it from right there, then you’ll flip your harness straps back up and out of the way. The seats remove just as easily as pulling the tab on the back of them and getting them out of the way.
[3:44] Now we’re ready to install our windshield. Slide it up into position. It’ll be a pretty good, snug fit up against the cage of the machine.
I already got one of my clamps ready to go. I’ll run my strap through the hole and the windshield, then feed the strap through my clamp. This makes it easier to get it all through there.
Once we have our strap started through the clamp, press it into place. Clamp that side and then we’ll go to the opposite side and to the top and both of the bottoms. We’ll also get our harnesses fed through.
Get our clamp, rotate it around, and get our strap slid through. Pull it back and get our rear windshield fitted super tight. Then we’ll do the same step down here on our lower clamp.
Now we’ll go to the opposite side and do the same thing. Grab your harnesses and you should be able to slide them right through. Do that to both harnesses, on both sides.
[5:37] Now we can hook our harnesses back up. We’ll slide them through and slide our latch up as far as it’ll go. Hold it there, get your harness, and slide it back in. Then get your harness back through and repeat these steps for the rest of your harensses.
Finally, reinstall your seats.
