Have you ever been stranded in the woods or on the trail after blowing a tire? A lot of people have. Well, SuperATV offers a heavy-duty spare tire carrier for the Kawasaki KRX and today we’re going to show you how to get it installed. So Let’s get to it.
First, remove all four screws out of your clamp. We’ve already removed two and loosened the other two so we’ll just completely remove than and set them aside. I’m going to position everything to make it easier to get everything started.
[00:38] Take the spare tire carrier and slide it to the outside and push it up and in. Get it flipped up like this. You can use your air box to help you hold it. Once you get it in position, line up the hardware and get the two screws started that are across from each other.
Now on the opposite side, slide it onto the cage and get all four screws started. The get the last two started on the opposite side.
[02:21] Once you have all of them started, start running them all in with a ratchet or allen wrench. Make sure you close the gap evenly. Once you get the gap closed, go through and fully tighten them in an X pattern. Repeat the steps for the opposite side.
And there you have it. Once you have all your hardware fully tightened, that’s how super quick and easy it is to install SuperATV’s Spare Tire Carrier on this Kawasaki KRX.
