What’s up guys? Are you looking for a full windshield that has vent for your Honda Talon 1000? Well SuperATV has you covered, and today we’re going to show you how to get one installed. So let’s get right to it.
[00:16] First, get all your components laid out. Take your vented windshield and lay it up on the machine to make sure that it fits. Then remove the plastic film from both sides. Just make sure it fits before you remove the protective film.
Now grab the bulb seal. This bulb seal goes around the lower portion of the vented windshield. Start on one side over and run it all the way across. Once you get to this point, cut off the excess.
Next, grab the foam. Run it all the way across following this line here. Get it to right here and stop. Then cut off the excess. Make sure you lift up on it when you cut it to make sure you don’t scratch your windshield.
[01:38] Now lay the windshield into position. Then get a clamp. I like to take my clamp apart and run the strap through. Feed the strap through the clamp itself. Get a little bit of slack through there and pull it back through the hole to pull the clamp in. I like to make sure the windshield’s in a good position, then lock the clamp down.
Do the upper portion the same way and repeat the same steps for the opposite side.
There you have it. Once you have your windshield in position and get all four of your straps on, that’s all there is to it to install SuperATV’s Full Vented Windshield on this Honda Talon 1000.
