Hey guys, Brayden here with Super ATV. Today, I’m going to show you how to install Super ATV’s aluminum roof on the CFMOTO UForce 1000. Let’s get right to it.

Preparing the Roof for Installation [0:34]

At the start of the installation process, you’ll need to grab the gasket from the kit. Place the bottom side of the roof facing up on the table. This positioning will make it easier to apply the gasket. Carefully take the gasket and apply it across the upper lip of the front portion of the roof. Make sure the gasket is securely placed, pressing it firmly to ensure good adhesion. Once the gasket is in place, trim any excess material to ensure a neat fit.

Assembling the Mounting Hardware [1:22]

The next step involves assembling the mounting hardware. Separate the components, which include the barrel and lock washer. You’ll need to assemble these parts with the seal on top and the lock washer at the bottom. This configuration ensures that the roof is properly secured. Next, couple the front and rear portions of the roof together. Initially, start the screws without the lock washer to hold the pieces in place. Once the screws are started, add the lock washer and tighten everything securely. This step ensures that the roof sections are firmly connected.

Installing Foam to the Cage [2:57]

If your machine is already equipped with a Super ATV roof, the foam should already be installed along the cage. If not, you’ll need to install the foam from the kit. Run the foam along the channel of the cage, starting at the front and moving down the sides and along the back. This foam helps to provide a snug fit and reduce vibrations, ensuring the roof is securely in place. Ensure that the foam is applied evenly and pressed firmly into place.

Preparing for Roof Installation [3:16]

Before installing the roof, remove the rear windshield if it is present. If there are factory bolts, remove them as well. This step clears the area where the roof will be mounted, ensuring there are no obstructions. Position the roof on the machine, aligning it with the mounting points on the cage.

Installing Front Hardware [4:03]

For the front three mounting positions, use the short black spacers and shorter Allen head hardware provided in the kit. Insert the hardware through the spacer and roof, securing it with a nut on the inside. The spacers should be placed between the cage and the roof to ensure a secure fit. This configuration helps distribute the load and ensures the roof is firmly attached to the cage. Once the hardware is inserted, tighten the nuts securely.

Installing Rear Hardware [5:14]

Move to the rear portion of the roof and install the hardware through the roof, aligning it with the cage. If you are using a rear windshield, make sure the bracket is straight and aligns correctly. This ensures that the rear of the roof is properly secured. Fully tighten all hardware to secure the roof in place, making sure that all brackets and components are aligned and straight. This step is crucial for the stability and safety of the roof installation.

Final Steps [5:58]

After all hardware is tightened, perform a final check to ensure that all connections are secure and tight. Make sure the roof is properly aligned and sits snugly on the cage. This step ensures that the roof is stable and won’t shift or rattle during use. And that’s all there is to it to install SuperATV’s Aluminum Roof on a CFMOTO UForce 1000.
