Is it time to upgrade your radius arms? Or maybe you’re looking for a double-adjustable, billet aluminum radius arm? Well SuperATV’s got you covered, and today we’re gonna show you how to get them installed on this Can-Am Maverick X3.

First, remove all the radius arms from the trailing arm and knuckle using an 18 mm wrench and socket. Do the upper radius arm first. Remove the nut from the hardware. Then remove the lower and finally the center. Pick up on the trailing arm and wiggle it around so you can get the radius arm bolts out. We won’t completely remove the upper, we’ll just slide it out of the way. We’ll leave the bolt in there so the knuckle doesn’t separate.

Then do the same thing on the lower. Leave it just like that. Grab the radius arms and get them all slid out of the way. Do the same thing for the opposite side.

Now remove all the nuts off the radius arms. I like to leave one nut on it so it doesn’t just fall off. Get a good hold of all the radius arms and then remove the last nut. Just grab them all and pull them off.

Now we have all six of our new radius arms layed out. They’re labeled “T” for top, “L” for lower, and “M” for middle. Whenever we install these, we want to make sure we install them correctly. When you install them, make sure this side goes toward the inside.

We’ll start with the lower. Grab two lowers at a time and get them to where they’ll sit. Then grab the middles. Just be careful because it’s easy for them to fall so you have to get them positioned just right. You can lay the middle ones on the trailing arm so they stay on easier.

Grab the top radius arms and have the plate ready to go so you can get it on quickly. Once you have all the radius arms in position, grab the radius arm plate and get it lined up. Start all the nuts and then fully tighten them.

Next, cut the zip tie off the top radius arm bushing and get it lined up. You’ll have to pick up on the trailing arm to get the bolt through. Take the middle one and get it out of the way. This will be the last one installed.

Get the lower and cut the zip tie off of it. You’ll have to slide the rotor out and the lower will drop right into position. Now cut the zip tie off the middle radius arm and grab the bolts. Slide on the bolt and get the nut slid in there and thread the bolt into it.

Get the nut started on the other two other outers, then fully tighten all the hardware. Then repeat the same steps for the opposite side.

These radius rods come preset and ready to go for a factory tire size. If you run anything larger than a factory tire size, you’re gonna have to do some adjusting for your camber and potentially for toe as well. The best thing about these SuperATV radius arms is that they’re double adjustable. Just make sure both jam nuts are loose and spin it to adjust your camber.

Once you’ve double-checked all your hardware, that’s how super quick and easy it is to install SuperATV’s Heavy-Duty Billet Aluminum Hex Radius Arms for the Can-Am Maverick X3. For more information on these radius arms, or any of SuperATV’s great products, feel free to give us a call at 855-743-3427, or check us out online at SuperATV.com.

Thanks for watching, and we’ll catch you next time.
