Hey everybody, Braden here at SuperATV. Today, I’m going to be showing you how super easy it is to install a SuperATV Flip Down Windshield on the 2018 Polaris RZR Turbo S. Let’s go over here and see what’s inside the box.
[00:11] When you get your Polaris RZR flip down windshield from SuperATV, this is what you are going to get inside the box. You are going to get your preassembled windshield, your upper seal, your bulb seal, gasket, your tie down brackets, and your heavy duty tie-down straps. And of course, you get access to detailed color instructions in the packing slip. Let’s get started.
[00:42] First, peel off the protective film on both sides of your RZR flip down windshield, and throw away the protective film. Now, we are going to run the upper seal and cut off any excess. Now, run the bulb seal and cut off any excess. When you get to this point, cut this in between the upper and lower windshield.
Now, take your bulb seal and start at the top of the lower windshield. Go all the way along the bottom, and when you come to the bends here, ensure that you are really pushing the seal up in there. And once you get to this portion here, make another cut. Run it up just as you did on the opposite side. Once you get to this point right here, make your cut. Now, you’ve got your bulb seal on.
Next, you’ll install your gasket on the lower windshield all the way down through here. First, peel off the backside of the gasket. Ensure that you get it nice and straight.
[02:50] Next, you’ll step on over to the machine and install your tie down brackets. Now, get a t40 Torx and remove these screws on your machine. Then, take your bracket and the spacer included in the kit, and install it on the machine with the factory screw. Now, do the exact same steps on the other side.
Next up, take your windshield and put it on the machine. Make sure that everything is lined up and in place. Now, secure the windshield to the machine using our heavy duty straps.
Now that it is installed, if you want to fold it down, this is what you do. First, remove your top straps. Grab your windshield, flip it down, and take your strap. Run it through your tie down bracket, through the upper portion of your windshield, and then tighten it down. Now with the windshield flipped down, you got that nice cool breeze blowing through your RZR Turbo S.
