[0:00] The first step is to remove the wheels and tires.
The next step is to remove the rear plate by removing these six nuts.
Now remove the radius rods from the studs.
Remove the top two radius arm bolts, located here and here.
Remove the bolts and then the radius arms, and repeat the steps on the opposite side.
[1:18] Next we’re going to install our bushings to our heavy-duty radius arms. They’re labeled top, middle, and bottom. On the side with the etched letter, we’re going to install the thick bushing. On the opposite side we’re going to install the thinner bushing.
[1:54] These misalignment bushings were included in the hardware kit, but will not be necessary when installing the straight boxed radius arms.
Install the top and middle radius arms, making sure the etching and the thick bushing are facing the machine. Once it’s on, start a nut.
Then repeat the steps for the opposite side.
[2:30] When installing these arms to the trailing arm or knuckle, you want to be sure that you install the heim joint bushings to the heim joints, like so. They’re the same on both sides. You want to pick the trailing arm up, get it lined up, take your top bolt, and get it started in there.
Then pick your knuckle up and the trailing arm. Slide your bolt through and we’re gonna leave it loose until we get all the radius arm installed.
We’re gonna install the middle one the same way, by installing our heim joint bushings.
[3:35] Then we’ll want to start a nut on the back side to ensure the radius arm stays on the knuckle. Now repeat the steps for the opposite side.
Remove the factory bottom radius arms.
[4:01] Install the bottom radius arm, ensuring that the SuperATV sticker is facing away from the machine. Once you get it on there, go ahead and start a nut. We’ve got our heim joint bushings. You wanna install them in the heim joint, like so. Now grab our bolt.
Remove these nuts in order to install the rear plate.
[5:06] When installing the rear plate, you want to be sure that the top portion is the portion that is farthest apart and the bottom is the one that’s closest.
Once the plate’s lined up and all the studs are coming through, we’re gonna install our nuts. Be sure to tighten in an X pattern, and then tighten the middle one.
Now, fully tighten the rest of the hardware.
[5:36] The last thing to do is to put the wheels and tires on. The camber is preset from SuperATV, but you do have the option to adjust them if you’d like to do so.
