Hello, Tyler here with SuperATV. Let’s talk blow-off valves. SuperATV offers this 6061 billet aluminum blow-off valve. It is anodized black for a long-lasting, high-quality product that is guaranteed to last you mile after mile, and it’s backed by a lifetime warranty. The Rev1 blow-off valve is a must-have for all turbocharged RZRs. We have seen the factory plastic one fail many times, compromising your horsepower.
For those of you that don’t know how a blow-off valve works, let me explain. So you’re ripping down the trail, heavy on the throttle. Your turbo is making boost, forcing air into your intake, feeding your engine the air it needs, then let off the throttle. The throttle body closes, making that forced air go back to where it came.
The Rev1 blow-off valve is a recirculating valve that accurately directs all turbo pressure back into your intake system, giving you the immediate power you need at your fingertips.
[00:59] While we are here, let’s go ahead and see what it takes to get this valve installed. Start by using a pair of side cuts and cut the bottom clamp off the bypass tube and remove.
Next, remove the charge tube clamp in the back. These clamps are not reusable. Do not be worried about messing them up. Pull the factory blow-off valve from the charge tube and now remove the top vacuum line.
Once all the clamps have been taken off, remove it from the machine. SuperATV’s Rev1 contains a blow-off valve and two hose clamps. First, place the two new hose clamps on both the charge tube outlet and the bypass tube. Grab your new blow-off valve, slide it into the bypass tube, then charge to the outlet and attach the vacuum line.
Now that all the hoses are attached, tighten the two hose clamps. It’s that simple.
