Are you looking for more visibility while riding your Can-Am Commander? Well, SuperATV has you covered with our Side View Mirrors, and today we’re going to show you how to get them installed.
[00:38] First, remove all your hardware and all the contents out of the packaging. Then, come to the mirror. You’ll see an 8 mm screw. Loosen the screw and discard it.
Then we’ll come over here. I like to put my wrench on the head of this one and spin it right off.
[01:06] This mirror will be sitting like this, so we need to make sure our brackets sit like this. We’ll take our hardware that is provided in the kit—four screws and four Nyloc nuts. Slide the screws through the holes and get your nuts started.
We want to rotate this bracket as far as we can like this. Let’s go ahead and fully tighten it.
[02:07] Now, we’ll grab our clamp. It goes on the cage.
I like it at the lowest point. If you’re running a windshield, you’ll have to put it down here on the lowest point. Just run it up to where it touches the windshield, but still has clearance to open.
We’ll tighten our camp.
[02:45] Now, we’ll grab our mirror. It’s going to lay like this. What we need to do is get our hardware. We’ll have a washer and a lock washer. Slide this up like this. Then, fully tighten the hardware.
You’ll repeat the same steps for the opposite side. Make sure your mirrors are level.
That’s all there is to install SuperATV’s Side View Mirrors on this Can-Am Commander XT. To pick yours up, check us out online. Thanks for watching and we’ll catch you next time.
