What’s up guys, Braden here with Super ATV. Today I’m going to show you how to install Super ATV’s windshield wiper on one of our glass windshields. This guide will help you get your wiper kit set up quickly and easily.
First, lay out all the contents of your wiper kit. You’ll find a 10 mm nut on the wiper handle. Remove it completely and set it aside. Next, remove the sleeve and take off one of the two nuts from the wiper arm.
You’ll have two flat washers and two rubber washers. Place a flat washer against the nut, followed by a rubber washer. Take your windshield, insert the wiper arm through the designated hole, ensuring the rubber washer makes contact with the frame.
Install the second rubber washer, flat washer, and nut on the inside of the windshield. Depending on your machine and roof, you may need to adjust the depth by threading the nuts accordingly.
Grab your wiper arm and carefully remove the cover. Flip the arm, ensuring it doesn’t snap back, and install the wiper handle from inside the machine. Make sure the handle is straight up and down before securing it with the 10 mm nut you removed earlier.
Tighten the nut using a 10 mm wrench while holding the handle to keep it aligned. Attach the wiper blade assembly by sliding it on until it clicks into place. Remove the protective cover and flip the wiper down. Reattach the cover you previously removed.
Reinstall your roof to ensure there’s enough clearance for the wiper assembly. If the cover hits the roof, adjust the nuts to bring the wiper assembly closer to the windshield frame.
If you only need to replace the wiper blade, push down on the tab on the current blade to release it. Remove the old blade and click the new one into place, then remove the protective cover.
