What’s up guys, Braden here with Super ATV. Today, we’re going to be showing you how to install Super ATV’s full vented windshield on this Kawasaki Mule SX. Let’s get right to it.

Preparing the Windshield [0:35]

Grab the lower portion of the windshield, ensuring the edge is flipped up. Pull the protective film back enough to expose all the holes. Next, take the seal from the kit and apply it along the edge.

Installing the Seal [0:50]

Run the seal all the way across the edge. When you reach the end, you can either tear or cut it. A razor blade makes a nice clean cut.

Attaching the Upper Portion [1:42]

Grab the hardware from the kit. Take a bolt with a sealing washer and a nut. Orient the upper portion with the bend facing down, opposite to the lower portion. Line up the holes and insert the screws. Continue this process for all holes and then fully tighten all the hardware.

Installing the Bulb Seal [3:14]

Ensure the bulb portion of the seal faces the inside of the windshield. Identify the inside by looking for the Super ATV logo on the vents, which indicates the outside. Apply the bulb seal starting from one edge and running it all the way around. Use an air hammer, dead blow, or install it by hand. Once done, cut off any excess.

Installing the Bottom Seal [4:32]

Take the remaining seal and apply it along the bottom edge of the windshield. Start at one end and run it across to the other, cutting off the excess at the end.

Installing the Windshield [4:56]

Remove the front two roof clamps if you have the factory roof installed. Use a dead blow and a lifting block to keep the roof up out of the way. With the windshield prepped, leave the protective film on to prevent scratches. Grab the straps and run the top straps through first. Loosely strap the top to hold the windshield in place. Repeat on the opposite side.

Securing the Windshield [6:12]

Loosely strap the top and bottom straps to hold the windshield in place. Ensure the windshield is properly aligned. Fully tighten all straps, starting with the top and then the bottom.

Vent Operation and Final Steps [7:31]

Check that the windshield is securely installed. The vents can be operated from inside the cab to allow airflow. Push down on the bottom of the vents to open or close them. Reinstall the roof. That’s all there is to it to install Super ATV’s full vented windshield on this Kawasaki Mule SX.
