What’s up everybody? Today we’re going to install SuperATV’s Inner Fender Guards on this Polaris Ranger XP 1000. Will be doing this in 3 easy steps—you’ll have these fender guards installed in no time.
If you have a skid plate installed on your machine, specifically a SuperATV skid plate, you’ll notice that you have this front metal bracket here. You’re going to remove all three of the fasteners from this and discard it.
You’ll also have a self-tapping screw here, and you should have one here. Then you will have an Allen with a 13 mm nut on it. What we’re gonna do is come in here with our 5 mm Allen and our 13 mm wrench, then remove this hardware.
If you’ve installed this skid plate previously, you should be fairly familiar with what the hardware is and where it’s located.
Then we’ll switch over to a 10 mm socket. Remove the hardware and then the bracket. We’ll take our panel and get it into position, then slide it around until the panel sits flush on either side. It should be sitting flush over here, over here, and down here on the frame.
Once you have it where you want it, mark the center of each of your holes. There are three on the outside and two on the inside up top. I have two on the bottom of the frame too.
Now we’re going to take a 5/16 drill bit and drill each of these holes. Get these two holes up here, and then these bottom holes as well.
Now that our holes are drilled, we’re going to take our panel and install it to the machine. Grab the push pins out of the kit.
Now that the passenger side panel is installed, we’ll go to the driver’s side and install that panel too. The process is pretty much the same, except the driver’s side doesn’t have as much hardware. Again, the same process. Take your panel, lay it into position, and mark your holes.
Now that you have installed your fender guards, be sure to check out our other Polaris upgrades and pick yours up today and don’t forget to drop a like, comment, and subscribe. Thanks for watching and we’ll catch you on the next one.
