What’s up, guys? Today we’ll show you how to install SuperATV’s Rear-Vented Windshield on this Polaris RZR PRO R in six easy steps.
First remove the contents from the packaging. Then take the windshield and lay it on your machine to confirm that it fits.
After that, remove the protective film from both sides of the windshield. Then orient your windshield with the upper portion of the windshield facing up and the lid facing up.
Now grab a medium bracket, a long bracket, and a side piece. With the windshield oriented how it is, this piece will bolt on right here. Remove the protective film from both sides.
Then take fourteen M6 bolts and place the sealing washers and make sure the seal faces away from the head. You’re going to need fourteen of your nylock nut as well.
Next, take your short bracket and line it up with the two holes closest to this edge. Take the hardware and come from outside and start our nuts. Don’t fully tighten any of the hardware yet.
Then take our long bracket, which will go here. Start the hardware from the outside in and snug these up by hand.
Grab our side piece of polycarbonate and the hardware pop the bolt through, line it up with the bracket, and start tightening the nut. Add one nut on each edge. That way, it stays in place.
Continue installing your small hardware, then fully tighten it.
Now we’re going to repeat all these steps for the opposite side.
Now find the bulb seal. Make sure your windshield is oriented like ours. We have the upper portion where the vent faces toward us, and all bolt heads are facing up. Ensure the seal is facing away from the bolt heads.
Install it starting on this edge, run it across, and cut off the extra.
Then once you get to this edge here, cut off the extra bulb seal. Next take the bulb seal—ensure the bulb portion faces the outside of the windshield. It will install just like this. Run it around the windshield and cut off the extra. Make sure the seal is fully seated
Remove the two factoriesT40 torx. Then take the bracket from the kit and install it just like this with the factory hardware we removed. We’re just going to snug these up—don’t fully tighten them just yet.
Now we’re going to install our windshield. You’re going to need the straps and the rest of the hardware.
Takethe windshield and slide it into the machine. Then flip it up and over. Now take one of our your straps to hold the windshield into place.
If you have a roof, you’ll want to losoen your hardware. Hold it in place and take the allen-headed hardware and slide it through the windshield, through the bracket, and put a nut on in the inside.
So for the next step, you’ll need someone to help you put the hardware through the windshield and the bracket while you tighten the nut.
Install the rest of our straps, and fully tighten them. And finish installing our windshield by getting it fully seated in the position.
Push up and lock this strap down as tight as possible. Then install our side strap—slide that through and fully tighten it.
The last thing is to fully tighten our two allen headed bolts holding our bracket and windshield together. You can do this by pushing the windshield up against them as tight as you can, fully tightening the hardware, pushing in on the bracket, tightening the T40s.
Once your rear windshield is installed, you will reinstall your hardware for your roof. That’s all there is to installing SuperATV’s Rear Vented Windshield on this Polaris PRO R 4.
