So you don’t have the extra cash lying around to get hard doors for your side-by-side, but winter’s coming in fast and you don’t want to compromise with soft doors. What can you do? Rolling around with frost-bitten fingers doesn’t sound like a fun time, but neither does spending money on something you don’t really want.
What if we told you that Primal Soft Cab Enclosure Doors aren’t a compromise? You get premium quality with the value of a soft door. They’re designed for real rides and hard work, and they’re a step above the soft doors you’ve seen before.
How do we make them so good? Let’s take a closer look.
The biggest difference between Primal soft doors and others is the canvas. Normally with a soft door, you get a generic polyester material that’s tough enough to stop rain, but might tear if you forget to clip your fingernails.
Our Pel-Tek Technology uses a kind of PVC-backed polyester that’s far tougher than anything else you’ll find. We chose a tougher material to make our doors more than a windbreak—they’re capable of brushing against branches and bushes without getting shredded to pieces. Plus, this material is mildew resistant so you don’t get that telltale stank after riding in the rain.
But a tougher material is only part of the equation.
Our Pel-Tek Technology would go to waste if we didn’t put it all together the right way. That’s why we cut and stitch our doors right here at SuperATV. We’re in complete control over the whole process so we can be picky about how they’re put together. The biggest advantage of making them ourselves is that we can make sure they fit perfectly. Like a tailor fitting a suit, we can make alterations rapidly and precisely so that each door fits its intended machine like a glove.
A perfect fit goes a long way, but we have to put it together just right to maintain that fit. That’s why we bind our edges instead of hemming them. Bound edges use a strip of fabric that is stitched onto the edge of the fabric to protect it from ripping or fraying. It’s far stronger than hemming, which only folds the edge and secures it with stitches.
Our premium stitching technique makes each seam robust and durable. They’re built to handle years of hard riding without popping loose or letting the elements through.
One big problem with soft doors is getting them attached to your frame in a way that you can count on. And how can you make it strong enough to keep installed on a trailer?
We give you Velcro and heavy-duty snaps to make sure nothing shakes these doors loose. They make our doors easy to install and seal out the elements perfectly when you’re riding. But do they make them capable of high-speed trailering?
That’s where our cinch straps come in. On top of Velcro and snaps, you can secure the doors to your machine with cinch straps for trailering. Heck, you can use them all the time and not worry about your doors coming loose in a tornado.
An important aspect of any soft door is the quality of the windows, and we made sure ours were the best of the best. Our windows are made out of UV-resistant vinyl. That’s important because it keeps them clearer for longer, and clarity is where we took things over the top.
If you’re thinking that all soft door windows are made the same, that’s just because you haven’t seen ours yet. We double polish our windows to make them the best you’ve ever seen. They are amazingly transparent, so you can enjoy more of what’s outside from the safety of your cab.
When you roll off the trailer, you never know what the day will bring. Trail conditions can vary wildly from day to day, and the forecast is only accurate on the weatherman’s birthday. So what do you do if the day turns out warmer than you thought? Or the the trail is muddier?
No worries! Our windows zip open and roll up when you need some extra air. They even get covered by a protective flap to shield them when they’re not in use.
On some versions like our Can-Am Defender soft doors, they can be completely zipped off and removed—a great way to return to the open cab feel on a perfect day.
No matter what you’re doing or how you’re riding, Primal Soft Doors should be an essential part of your UTV’s cab enclosure.
They offer strength, protection, and comfort better than any other soft door on the market. From better materials to better construction, you can count on these doors to be anything but budget… even if they’re easier on the wallet.
Get a pair, get them installed, and enjoy being in your UTV that much more.
