Pennsylvania is home to the nation’s first computer, public zoo, and baseball stadium. It’s the “Chocolate Capital” of the United States. And it’s also where you’ll find a world-famous weather forecasting groundhog. But nestled in between all of those gems is our favorite surprise. Did you know there’s a thrilling collection of UTV and ATV trails in Pennsylvania?

If woods and mountains are your thing, this is the state for you. Pennsylvania is full of hard-packed trails that take you through some of the most picturesque parts of the Mid-Atlantic. That doesn’t mean there isn’t something for everyone, though! The trails in PA have enough mud and rock gardens to go around.

Not sure where to begin? We’ve compiled a list of 14 of the most talked-about ATV and UTV trails in Pennsylvania to get you started. All that’s left to do is check it out, load your machine on the trailer, and get to riding!

NOTE: Due to the harsh winters of the Northeast, most of these trails close for the season. The typical operating period runs from Memorial Day through the end of September, although that can vary based on location. Park details and prices reflect what was current as of November 2021.
