What’s up guys, Braden here with Super ATV. Today we’re going to walk you through everything you need to do to install Super ATV’s 3-inch spacer lift on a Polaris Xpedition.

Removing Wheels and Tires [0:30]

The first thing you’re going to want to do is go ahead and remove your wheels and tires from your machine. It’s going to be a 19 mm socket.

Removing Front Shock [0:49]

On the front shock, what you’re going to do is come to the lower shock bolt, go ahead and remove that, and then you’re going to go to the upper shock bolt, remove that hardware as well. Then you would remove your shock from the machine.

Installing Front Spring Spacer [1:04]

Once you’ve removed your shock from the machine, you’re going to want to compress your spring using a spring compressor. You’re going to remove the lower spring or the primary spring and then you’re going to install your front spring spacer. There are two different kinds of spring spacers in this kit. You’ll see one that doesn’t have the lip and one that does. The spacer with the lip will sit just like this. You’re going to have your crossover piece on your shock here. You’ll install this spacer directly to the crossover, and then the primary spring will slip around this machined surface. After compressing the primary spring and removing the retainer, you’ll install the spring spacer onto the crossover piece, then reinstall the primary spring over the spacer, compress the spring back, and reinstall the retainer.

Removing Rear Shock [2:23]

Moving on to the rear, the process is similar but with one extra step. This is your knuckle, the part where your wheel bearing is pressed into. You have an upper A-arm bolt going through the knuckle, which you’ll need to remove first. Once the upper arm can move up and down, remove the lower shock bolt. On the passenger side, allow the machine to cool down before removing the shock, as the exhaust runs close to the upper shock bolt. You may need wrenches or a short socket to remove the upper hardware. Once the upper hardware is removed, raise the upper arm and slide the shock out.

Installing Rear Spring Spacer [3:17]

For the rear spring spacer, follow the same process as the front. Compress the spring, remove the retainer and primary spring, and then install the spacer against the crossover. Reinstall the primary spring and retainer, then reinstall the shock to the machine.

Conclusion [3:39]

Alright guys, that’s all there is to it to install Super ATV’s 3-inch lift kit on this Polaris Expedition.
