First, we need to prepare the vehicle for installation. Begin by removing the hood of the Polaris Ranger XP1000. Twist the knobs on both sides of the hood to release it from the vehicle’s frame. After securing the lower mount, use the short M8 hardware included in the Super ATV kit to attach the bracketry to the cage of the Polaris Ranger XP1000. Position the brackets on both sides of the vehicle’s cage and secure them using the provided M8 hardware and Nylock nuts. Tighten the nuts securely to ensure the brackets are firmly attached and aligned properly.

Once aligned, insert the tapered Allen bolts through the holes in the windshield and secure them using the Nylock nuts provided in the kit. Moving on to the latch and wiper installation, begin by attaching the latch mechanism to secure the windshield in the upright position. Use the hardware provided in the Super ATV kit to mount the latch securely to the windshield frame. Ensure the latch mechanism is aligned properly for effective operation. Next, install the wiper handle onto the windshield frame using the hardware included in the kit. Align the handle with the wiper arm and secure it with the provided nuts and washers. Tighten the nuts securely to ensure the wiper handle is firmly attached and aligned correctly with the wiper arm for optimal functionality.
With the windshield installed and components secured, it’s time to make final adjustments and conduct testing. Adjust the windshield to ensure it fits correctly and operates smoothly. Secure the windshield in the upright position using the latches provided, ensuring they lock securely into place.
