What’s up guys Braden here with Super ATV. Today we’re going to be showing you how to install Super ATV’s flip windshield on this CFMOTO UForce 1000 so let’s get right to it.

Unboxing and Initial Setup [0:34]

The first thing that we’re going to do is go ahead and remove all the contents of our packaging from Super ATV. We’re going to grab our lower windshield, lay it on the machine to confirm that it fits. Once you’ve done that, you’re going to remove the protective film from both sides.

Applying the Bulb Seal [0:55]

Then we’re going to grab our straight bulb seal and apply it across the lower portion of the lower windshield. Here we’re just going to go ahead and cut off our excess.

Mount Installation on Lower Windshield [1:24]

So now we’re going to go ahead and grab our mounts. What we’re going to do is attach them to the outer slotted holes on our lower windshield. What we’re going to do is grab our M6 by 20s out of the hardware kit and leave them loose. Now we’re going to grab our side mounts, they’ll look just like this here, and install them to the outer slotted holes on our windshield. You want to make sure that yours looks like this so that the screws the hardware is facing out and away from the windshield. Repeat the same steps for the opposite side.

Installing Catch and Catch Support [2:47]

Now we’re going to grab our catch and catch support as well as the hardware. We’re going to install the catch to the windshield just like this. Take the hardware, slide it in the slot, take the support, go to the bottom of the windshield, slide it through, and get the nut started. Repeat the same steps for the opposite side.

Snugging Hardware and Clamp Preparation [3:47]

Now we’re just going to go through and snug our hardware up. We’re not going to fully tighten anything yet, but we are going to kind of snug it up so that it’s not flopping these brackets all over the place as we go to install the lower portion of the windshield. Then we will remove the hardware out of our clamps to separate them. We will just leave these clamps separated now.

Placing Lower Windshield on Machine [4:46]

Now we’re just going to take our lower windshield and place it on the machine. We’re not going to worry about installing the clamps just yet. This is primarily to move it off of our worktable.

Upper Windshield Preparation [4:58]

Now we’re going to go ahead and remove the protective film from both sides of the upper portion of our windshield. Then we’ll grab our handle, handle support, and hardware. Lay the handle support on the outside of the windshield and install the handle with the handle portion facing towards the top of the upper windshield.

Upper Mount Installation [6:19]

Now we’re going to go ahead and grab our upper mount and install it to the uppermost holes on the upper portion of the windshield. Make sure the flat side of the clamps is lined up with the flat on this bracket here and that the clamps are facing out and away from the windshield. Remove the hardware out of the clamps and separate them. Repeat the same steps on the opposite side.

Clamping Lower Windshield to Cage [8:10]

Now we’re going to grab our clamp or one side of our clamp, two of the M6 by 20s out of the hardware kit, and the spacer. We’re going to go ahead and get our lower windshield clamped to the cage. We’re not fully tightening anything just yet just getting everything started.

Positioning and Clamping Upper Windshield [8:38]

Position the upper portion of the windshield on the machine. Get the clamps lined up properly. Once the windshield is positioned where it needs to be, go ahead and snug the hardware up.

Strut Installation and Applying the Gasket [9:50]

Attach the strut to the upper mounting position. Flip the windshield up and line the strut with the other mounting hole. Grab the hardware and get it started. Grab the gasket and apply it across the inner edge of the windshield. Once you get to the end, cut off the excess.

Final Steps [11:38]

With the struts on, close and latch the windshield. Once latched and closed, go through and tighten up the handle and all hardware. Ensure everything is fully tightened.
