What’s up guys, Braden here with Super ATV. Today we’re going to be showing you how to install Super ATV’s front accent light on this Polaris RZR Turbo R, so let’s get right to it.
The first thing we’re going to do is remove the two T40 screws securing the hood to the machine. Once your hardware is removed, grab the hood and remove it. Then, we’re going to remove the T40 screw right here in the center, lift up, and remove this panel, setting it aside.
Next, we’re going to remove this push pin right here. After that, remove the two T40 screws. This will allow us to move our fender up and out of the way.
Now, we’re going to depress the two tabs on our grill, remove it, and set it aside. Take your hand and slide it back behind here to locate the four nuts that are attaching the factory accent light to the machine. Use an 11 mm socket on a ratchet to remove all four nuts. For the outer nuts, a ratchet wrench can make it easier to get in there, as it gets tight near the radiator.
Once all the hardware is removed, slide the front accent light back. You’ll see a plug right in the center. Pick up on the tab of the plug and then remove the accent light from the machine.
Lift the fender and run our wires down to where the light is mounted. Place the controller in the vicinity behind the light. Grab the factory connection and plug it into the controller harness. Tie these wires up here before we’re all done to prevent any of that from hanging down.
Grab the new accent light and plug it into the harness. Run the nut up to secure it and tighten it down. Take the light and install it right into the factory mounting locations. Use the factory hardware and install it onto each of the studs. Once the hardware is started, fully tighten all of the nuts.
Once you have all your hardware started or fully tightened, lift up your fender again. Grab the controller, slide all the wiring harness and everything up directly above the headlight. Tuck it up in there nicely so you don’t have any wires hanging down. Turn your key on to make sure everything’s working. Cycle through all the different colors, patterns, increase and decrease the speed, and adjust the brightness.
After confirming that everything is functioning correctly, reinstall all of your panels and hardware that you previously removed. Ensure everything is securely fastened.
