What’s up, guys? Braden here with Super ATV, and today we’re going to show you how to install Super ATV’s full windshield on this Can-Am Maverick R. Let’s get right to it!

Preparation [0:35]

First, we need to remove the corner hardware from the roof. Once removed, grab the hardware and do the same on the opposite side.

Assembling the Windshield [1:07]

Now, grab both the upper and lower portions of the windshield. Ensure the brackets on both parts are on the inside. Align the holes on the lower portion with the upper portion. Using the M6x20 mm hardware with sealing washers, insert the hardware from the outside and secure it with M6 Nylock nuts on the inside. Get all screws started except for the outermost holes. Use a 4 mm Allen and a 10 mm socket to tighten the screws.

Installing the Bulb Seal [3:33]

Next, install the bulb seal around the windshield. Peel back the protective film from the edges of the windshield. Start the seal in the center of the upper portion, ensuring the bulb portion faces inward. Use an air hammer or mallet to secure the seal around the windshield. Cut the seal to fit nicely at the seam and ensure it is fully seated.

Installing Upper Brackets [5:35]

Grab the upper brackets and long Allen hardware. Position the bracket with the tab facing up. Insert the hardware through the cage and secure it with an M8 Nylock nut on the inside. These brackets are adjustable, so do not fully tighten them yet. Repeat this process on the opposite side.

Attaching Clamps [6:48]

Separate the clamps by removing the two 5 mm Allen bolts. Place a bag over the clamp to prevent scratching the cage, then slide the clamp onto the cage. Start the hardware but do not fully tighten. Repeat on the opposite side. Ensure the Super ATV logo is facing correctly.

Attach the brackets to the clamps using a small M6 screw and an M8 screw. Hand start the screws and repeat the process on the opposite side. Ensure everything is aligned and positioned correctly.

Installing the Windshield [9:26]

With the brackets and clamps in place, position the windshield on the machine. Slide the long hardware through the windshield and thread it into the upper brackets. Repeat this process for the lower brackets.

Securing Straps [11:02]

Go inside the unit and install the straps to the upper portion of the windshield. Slide the straps up and wrap them around, securing both sides. Retighten any factory straps if necessary.

Final Adjustments [11:53]

Make any final adjustments needed and fully tighten all hardware. Remove the protective film from both sides of the windshield. That’s all there is to it for installing Super ATV’s full windshield on this Can-Am Maverick R. Check the description below to pick up your windshield today. Drop a like, comment, and subscribe.
