What’s going on, guys? Are you looking to carry a spare tire on your Honda Talon 1000X-4? SuperATV’s got you covered with our heavy-duty Spare Tire Carrier. We’re going to show you how to install one. Let’s get right to it.

Remove the Hardware

[00:43] Remove all the hardware from the clamps on the tire carrier. Then remove the Allen-headed bolts. Do this for both sides of the tire carrier.

Put the Spare Tire Carrier On

[01:19] Get the spare tire carrier into place on the cage. Make it nice and even. Take the clamp and the hardware and reinstall them.

Start the bolts evenly and then fully tighten them. This side is ready. Now go to the opposite side. Get a ratchet and fully tighten the bolts in an X pattern.

This is going to fit the factory Honda Talon tire bolt pattern. You can throw one of the spare tires on it. You’re good to go if you get a flat on the trail.

Final Steps

[02:54] It’s a super easy install. It comes with the factory-style lug nuts already mounted. Throw the tire on there, bolt it down, and you’re good to go.

That’s all there is to it to install SuperATV’s Spare Tire Carrier on this Honda Talon 1000X-4.
