What’s up guys, Braden here with Super ATV. Today I’m going to be showing you how to install Super ATV’s outfitter roof rack on this Polaris RZR Turbo. So, let’s get right to it!
Alright, so the first thing we’re going to do is go ahead and grab our driver-side panel as well as our front bracket. This is for the driver’s side, and as you can see, it has three threaded holes here that line up with the three threaded holes on the side of our bracket. We’re going to lay it up here like so and grab our M8 by 14 mm Allen headed hardware. Just go ahead and get these started.
We’ll leave them loose for adjustments. Now, we’ll grab our M8 by 25 mm bolt, M8 Nylock nut, and our rear mounting bracket. There are multiple bolt holes back here – two rear-most ones and one located directly inward. This bolt will go through into the bracket. It should look something like this. Go ahead and get the nut started just like that. The rear bracket goes on like so, using our MC 6 by 14 mm screws.
Now we’ll grab our rear mount. The side with the bigger threads is for the M8 screws. We’ll use two of our M8 by 14 mm Allen headed screws, same as the front bracket. Lay it on the two rear-most holes on the side panel, and get the hardware threaded into the bracket. Use the small M6 Allens to secure it. Everything should look like this, and we won’t fully tighten anything yet.
Now we’ll thread the short M6 screws through the front bracket into the mount. Use M6x 25s and a T-slot, lining it up with the holes on the side panels. We’ll snug the hardware up just enough to keep the slats from moving around.
Rotate the roof rack and repeat all the same steps for the opposite side. Install the same hardware in the same locations on the other side.
Grab your bulb seal from the kit. This is the front portion of the roof. Install the seal with the bulb facing towards the inside. Once you reach the end, cut off the excess.
If you’re running the Super ATV aluminum roof, remove all four screws from the top side of the roof, except the very back two. Once the hardware is out, lay the roof rack in position.
Grab an M8 sealing washer, lay it over the threaded hole. If you’re not running a Super ATV roof, you will need to change out the hardware. For the Super ATV aluminum roof, use the M8 hardware with the sealing washer. Place the sealing washer underneath the bracket, slide the hardware through, and secure it to the threaded clip.
Repeat the steps for the other side, then fully tighten the hardware mounting the roof rack through the roof to the cage of the machine. Go back and fully tighten all other hardware on the rack.
Once you’ve fully tightened your hardware and the roof rack is exactly where you want it, that’s all there is to it to install Super ATV’s outfitter roof rack on this Polaris RZR XP Turbo.
