What’s up guys? Today we’re going to be showing you how to install the Assault Industries bed enclosure on this Polaris Razer Turbo R. So let’s get right to it!
The first step in the installation process is to remove the existing hardware. Start by removing the T40 Torx screw located here, as well as the one over here. Once those are out, move on to the rear section and remove the next T40 screw. This will allow you to properly position the new bed enclosure.
Next, grab the rear portion of the bed enclosure and align the tabs with the threaded holes on the bed. Once aligned, take two of your 10 millimeter headed bolts and thread them into the factory threads. Do not fully tighten this hardware yet; just get it hand started.
Now, grab the right side bracket and line it up with the rear section of the bed enclosure. Using the short Allen bolts provided in the kit, attach the bracket to the enclosure. Make sure to install flat washers on the Allens and secure them with Nylock nuts. Start the nuts but do not fully tighten them yet. Repeat this process for the driver’s side bracket.
Take the spacer and slide it behind the bracket. Line up the hardware with the spacer and then align it with the factory threaded hole where you previously removed the factory hardware. Hand start the hardware to ensure everything is properly aligned.
Now that all components are in place and hand started, go through and fully tighten all the hardware. Make sure everything is securely fastened and properly aligned to ensure the best fit and function of your new bed enclosure. Once you’ve fully tightened all your hardware, that’s all there is to it to install the Assault Industries bed enclosure system on this Polaris Razer Turbo R.
