What’s up guys, Braden here with SuperATV. Today, we’re going to be showing you how to install SuperATV’s Bed Rack Delta on this CFMOTO UForce 1000. Starting the installation, make sure you have all the necessary tools and parts ready. Let’s get right to it!
First, head over to the bed of the machine. Grab your mounts and loosen the hardware. The hardware comes pre-installed in a channel. Loosen it up so that it sits on top of the channel. This step ensures that the mounts can be easily positioned and secured. Angle the back piece so it is flush. Drop it down into the bed channel. Use a socket, wrench, or Allen wrench to start tightening the hardware. Tighten one side first to hold it in place, then adjust and tighten the other side. Ensure the mounts are good and tight. Repeat this process for each mount location. Drop each mount into the bed channel, position it, and tighten the hardware. Once all mounts are installed on one side, move to the opposite side and repeat the same steps. Ensuring all mounts are properly installed will provide a stable base for the bed rack.
Prepare the Thumb Screws: Grab the side mounts and thumb screws. Each thumb screw should have a locking washer and a flat washer. This combination will help secure the mounts firmly.
Attach the Side Mounts: Thread the thumb screw into the previously installed bed mounts. Snug one screw to hold the side mount in place, then attach the second screw. Leave them slightly loose for adjustment. This will allow for easier alignment of the bed rack later on.
Repeat for the Opposite Side: Repeat the process for the opposite side of the bed, attaching the side mounts with thumb screws. Properly securing the side mounts on both sides ensures that the bed rack will be evenly supported.
Position the Bed Rack: Place the bed rack on top of the side mounts. Center it and ensure it is aligned. Tighten the side mounts slightly to hold the bed rack in place. Proper alignment is key ensuring the bed rack is functional and looks good.
Secure with Hardware: Grab the hardware and drop it through the top of the bed rack into the mounts. Install a nut on the bottom side of each bolt. There will be four bolts per side. Start by snugging one side, then move to the opposite side to ensure everything is square. Ensuring the bed rack is properly secured will provide the necessary strength and stability.
Final Alignment: Before fully tightening, make sure the bed rack is properly aligned, and the gaps are even. Once satisfied with the positioning, fully tighten all the hardware. This final check ensures that the bed rack is securely installed and aligned correctly.
Go through and fully tighten all the thumb screws. You can use a rag on a pair of pliers to ensure they are really tight. Ensuring all screws are tight will prevent any movement or rattling.
