[0:00] Hey guys! Matt here at SuperATV. Today I want to show you how to install a SuperATV Half Windshield on this Polaris RZR XP 1000. Let’s get started.
I have all the components laid out in front of me. You have the lower windshield, two clamps, and the seal. We’ve also got full-color instructions provided by SuperATV.
[0:19] The first thing we’re going to do is install the seal to the lower part of the windshield. Before we install the seal, we need to remove the protective wrap from both sides of the windshield.
When installing the seal, start on one end of the windshield, pressing firmly. Seat the seal so it comes in contact with the windshield. Do this the whole length of the windshield.
As you can see, we have a bit of excess at the end. Just grab a pair of tin snips and cut off the excess so the seal is flush with edge of the windshield.
[1:05] Now it’s time to install the heavy-duty Velcro strap. Make sure you install it where the air deflector is facing forward. We’re just going to snap it into the rectangle slot on the front side of the windshield.
Now that we’ve installed the seal and the clamps, it is time to secure it to the machine.
