This year has seen more and more manufacturers innovate with their features and designs, giving all of us an impressive 2024 lineup of ATVs to choose from. With advancements that enhance performance, safety, and connectivity, this year’s models are truly remarkable.

Innovations in 2024 ATV Models

Enhanced Suspension Systems

The days of being shaken to death like a cheap martini are long gone! One of the standout improvements for the 2024 ATVs is the enhanced suspension systems. These upgrades significantly improve comfort and handling, allowing for smoother rides over rough terrain and better stability during high-speed maneuvers. While not every suspension setup is the same, manufacturers have made a real effort to improve their designs and provide a more enjoyable riding experience, no matter where you ride.

Improved Engine Performance

Go farther and get there faster with this year’s ATV engine upgrades. Revamped engines and optimized utilization offer better fuel economy while still increasing power output, giving both eco-conscious riders and those searching for maximum power and range exactly what they need. Overall improvements to engine efficiency and punch allow 2024 ATVs to provide the kind of outstanding performance that riders are looking for.

Advanced Safety Features

While safety should always be front of mind while you ride, manufacturers loaded up their 2024 lines with safety-enhancing technology, including:

  • Electronic stability control
  • Improved braking systems
  • GPS-powered machine tracking
  • Advanced traction control
  • Enhanced power steering

When riders feel protected and accidents are less likely to happen, they have greater confidence whenever they ride, whether they’re navigating challenging trails or cruising through open fields.

Smart Connectivity and Integration

The integration of smart technology in ATVs was another exciting development in the 2024 models. As mentioned in the safety features section, many quads now feature built-in GPS systems for both safety and navigation, as well as smartphone integration, Bluetooth® connectivity options, vehicle diagnostics, and more.

These smart connectivity features help riders stay connected no matter how far away from civilization they explore, while also improving the convenience and overall riding experience.

Top ATVs of 2024

The SuperATV team has chosen the top ATVs of 2024 based on a combination of features and price point. One thing to note: this list is focused on all-around ATVs, so there are no sport quads on this list—be on the lookout for a future article breaking down the best sport ATVs.

The top picks this year come from some of the most recognized brands in powersports–although a relative newcomer has continued its strong push from recent years–but off-road veterans won’t be surprised to see most of the manufacturers on this list. These companies are known for cranking out feature-packed ATVs built for the long haul and have come a long way from the days when a tachometer on a quad was considered ground-breaking (we owe ya one, 1985 Suzuki Quadracer).

Looking for a dependable ATV that is less than 40″ wide to fit between the tracks in our rail yard. Also need to have a front and rear rack to hold parts and tools. We need durability, as these machines will be used to inspect trains 24 hrs a day. We also need them available in Canada…That’s the big one! Honda Recons used to be our go-to bikes, but are no longer shipped to the Canadian Market. Any suggestions would be welcomed!

Why did you not compare the 850 Polaris model with the other 800s you choose? Seems a little bias.
