SuperATV Recall

Certain Carrier Bearings on Polaris RZR XP Turbo and Turbo S Vehicles

SuperATV is voluntarily recalling certain carrier bearings sold for use in Polaris RZR XP Turbo and Polaris RZR XP Turbo S vehicles (“Polaris RZR Vehicles”).

SuperATV has received reports that these carrier bearings, when installed in the Polaris RZR Vehicles, can lead to unintended contact between the fuel tank and the prop shaft (due to fuel tank swelling) when the vehicles are operated for an extended period under certain circumstances. The rubbing of the fuel tank and prop shaft can result in a hole or crack in the fuel tank which, in one instance, resulted in a fire. SuperATV is not aware of any injuries associated with this issue.

SuperATV is contacting known purchasers of these carrier bearings directly.

Which Carrier Bearing Models are Affected?

SuperATV updated the design of its carrier bearings for Polaris RZR Vehicles in August 2022. Only the following carrier bearings are included in this recall if purchased during the identified date ranges for use in a Polaris RZR Vehicle:

  • ● Model BEA01-001: purchased between April 13, 2017 and April 27, 2019
  • ● Model BEA01-002: purchased between May 18, 2018 and January 22, 2019
  • ● Model BEA01-005: purchased between January 25, 2019 and September 2, 2022

Carrier bearings purchased outside of this date range or for use with a different vehicle are not included in this recall and are safe to use as directed.

The affected carrier bearings are silver and black and are marked with SuperATV etching on the top of the housing. For example:
