This 4" GDP Portal Gear Lift gives your CFMOTO ZForce 950 HO both additional ground clearance and a 15% or 30% gear reduction at the wheel hubs. That means more torque, better acceleration with larger tires, and improved performance in mud, rocks, and rough terrain—all while maintaining OEM suspension angles.
No. GDP Portals place the gear reduction in the wheel hub instead of the transmission. By moving the reduction to the end of the drivetrain, they help reduce stress on your axles, prop shaft, differential, and transmission compared to running oversized tires without gear reduction.
Choose 15% gear reduction if you want extra low-end torque while maintaining more of your top speed for trail riding and faster terrain. Choose 30% gear reduction if you're running larger tires, tackling deep mud, rock crawling, or want maximum pulling power and acceleration.
This kit is designed as a bolt-on upgrade and includes everything needed for installation. While it's more involved than installing a typical lift kit because you're replacing the hub assemblies with portal boxes, experienced DIY riders can complete the installation with common shop tools in a day.
